About
A calm guide for couples who want their ceremony to feel personal, lawful, and unhurried.
Ashifa Alibhai
I founded AHANSA Life Foundation to serve couples who want something quieter than the spectacle of a large wedding — and something more intentional than a rushed appointment at a clerk’s desk.
As a licensed paralegal, mediator, and Notary, I understand both the legal architecture of marriage in Ontario and the emotional architecture of a ceremony. My work is to bridge those worlds with care: clear documents, considered words, and a presence that lets you stay present.
Philosophy
I believe a wedding is a threshold — a social, legal, and personal passage. The most beautiful ceremonies I have led were not the most elaborate; they were the most honest. We begin with listening: who you are, what you value, who will stand with you, and how you want the moment to feel when you look back decades from now.
From there, we write. We rehearse if you wish. We prepare the legal path with precision. And on the day, I hold the room so you can simply meet each other’s eyes.
